The mission of our group is to unite the people in our community at Barangay Frances, Calumpit, Bulacan, Philippines. We can do this by starting with different groups in the community, "basic ecclesial communities" whose members gather together to analyze and come up with solutions to the needs of our community. Sikap is promoting livelihood programs for everybody and is a non-sectarian NGO. We invite you to join us. The vision is to improve the economy by uplifting the living conditions of the families in our community. This can only be done with the cooperation and help of the members, the religious and political leaders, private companies who are willing to support the projects of the group, and our friends and relatives abroad. The Sikap was formally launched in Calumpit on Nov 24, 2008, but the elections will be held soon in 2009. Through the support of Sikap members;
